Mr. Naga Logenthiralingam, Key Member of National Ethinic Press Council Canada commended Puthiya Kural for its tireless efforts in bringing important issues affecting the Tamil diaspora into the mainstream. "In just one year, Puthiya Kural has become an indispensable source of information and a voice for the Tamil community here in Canada," said Logenthiralingam, highlighting the newspaper's role in bridging gaps and shedding light on the experiences of Tamil Canadians.
Human Rights Lawyer Prasanna Pathiraj, who also spoke at the event, praised the paper for its commitment to providing accurate and diverse reporting, fostering unity within the community. “Puthiya Kural’s success is a testament to the dedication and hard work of its team. It is a reflection of the growing importance of Tamil voices in the media,” said Pathiraj.
