புதிய குரல் பத்திரிகை ஸ்தாபகர் திரு. பஹத் ஏ.மஜீத் அவர்களின் ' இலங்கை அரசு பின்புலத்தில் செய்த இனவாத சம்பவங்கள்' என்ற புத்தகம் கடந்த 14ம் திகதி அமேசோன் தளத்தில் வெளியாகியது. இந்த நூல் முன்னர் புதிய குரல் பத்திரிகையில் அவர் எழுதிய கட்டுரைகளின் மொழிபெயர்ப்பாகும். இதனை தற்போது கனடாவில் இருந்து தொகுத்து ஆங்கிலத்தில் வெளியிட்டிருந்தார். இந்த நூலின் பிரதிகள் சர்வதேச மன்னிப்பு சபை உள்ளிட்ட பல மனித உரிமை அமைப்புகளுக்கு ஆசிரியரால் அனுப்பபட்டிருந்தது.
இந்த நிகழ்வை தொடர்ந்து அம்பாறை மாவட்டத்தில் அமைந்துள்ள அவரது இல்லத்தில் சிவில் மற்றும் சீருடையில் சென்ற அதிகாரிகள் கடுத் தொனியில் அவரின் குடும்பத்தாரை எச்சரித்ததோடு மீண்டும் இலங்கைக்கு வந்தால் விமான நிலையத்தில் வைத்து கைது செய்வோம் என்று கூறியுள்ளனர். விசாரணைக்காக குடும்பத்தினர் வரவேண்டும் என்று கூறிய அதிகாரிகள். கனடா சென்று அமைதியாக இருக்க சொல்லுங்கள் இல்லாவிட்டால் பிரச்சினை உங்களுக்கு வரும் என்று மிரட்டியுள்ளனர்.
